Vietnam SF MACV SOG Skull Paratrooper Wings Sterling

This is a museum quality reproduction made in the same way that the original ones were made in the back alleys of Saigon. These Special Forces badges were never official and not worn when the old man was around but prized by the men. This badge is 1 5/16 inches wide and has two clutch backs and is stamped sterling. It is unusual being this small, maybe someone’s idea of a joke, a Mess Dress SF Badge. Because of its size it is not found in many collections. Most reproductions of this badge are done in junk metals, this is the one of the only ones done in sterling.
