This is a museum quality reproduction of a Ludlow designed US Paratrooper badge in sterling silver. During the war Ludlow made a large number of insignia for US troops stationed in Great Britain. The Ludlow items are highly collectable and hard to find. Here is an excellent example of one of their badges, with a raised hallmark, that is affordable until a real one comes along.
