$260.00
SKU: P-1699

This wing is a museum quality reproduction of a WWI Military Aviator wing first authorized on October 27, 1917, this is also the date the first American solder fired a shot in WWI. To be a aviator you had to be a Captain and in the Regular Army. It was not a senior pilot. The star above the wings seems to have vanished by 1919. This museum quality reproduction is made in sterling silver and mounted on a brass plate as was the original. This type of wing is extremely rare in many collections.
