Reproduction of Vintage San Quentin Hat Badge.
San Quentin State Prison est. 1852. This hat badge is designed to match the vintage hat badge in every detail. These were worn at San Quentin and Folsom Prison, the only two Prisons in Califronia until the Mid 1980's. Not sure the date they were introduced, but they were worn 30's 40's and 50's. After the Department of Corrections was created a new hat badge was created that all the Prison and Institutions were uniformed.

I asked if there was anything for the United States role in the invasion of the Dominican Republic 1965. At that time there wasn't , but I contacted the owner and he said they would look into it.
There is now a Operation Power Pack patch, 1965-1966. 82nd Airborne Division was present there for over a year. During the Invasion there were 44 KIA. This event was over shadowed by the Vietnam War.
